Historian Update - Alex Forrest

It is with a very heavy heart that I give you the sad news that the son of one of our own past presidents, Jack Forrest, and a long time SAC member himself, Alex Forrest, passed on last week. 

As historian, I am tasked with informing SAC members of these types of events, but when it is for someone so young and full of potential, it is especially difficult to send and I’m sure to hear.

Our hearts go out to Jack and his family. Jack was SAC president when I started on the board, and even though I didn’t know Alex well, I did see him at many events, and he was always kind and had a smile for everyone. We have lost a great man and he will be missed by many in our community.
