Volunteers Wanted

The Calgary Food Bank is the first line of emergency food support for families and individuals facing crisis. Once the food emergency is addressed, Calgary Food Bank refers food bank clients to their proven partner agencies and programs. Their deep collaboration and food support to hundreds of other charitable organizations that address the root causes of food insecurity aligns with their mission to work with the community to fight hunger.

We are looking for ASHRAE member volunteers to lend a hand in sorting food and assembling specialty hampers:

• 10 people on Thursday April 26, 2018

• Morning: 8:15 to 11:30am

• Task: sorting food and assembling specialty hampers

Please note: The Calgary Food Bank can only accommodate 10 volunteers per shift, therefore if you are interested make sure you sign up fast!  The first 10 volunteers to sign up for each shift will be contacted and given more details, while additional interested members will be wait-listed.
