Student activities is back this year with more of the same great program. As with previous years we continue to sponsor and support a fourth year mechanical engineering capstone project at the University of Calgary. In January we will be working with second year SAIT mechanical engineering technology students on a capstone project of their own.
The Student Branch is as strong as ever. We have been working with the incoming Student Branch president Stilian Rangelov to get planning underway. The first event is scheduled for September 26th.
You might hear from some of our Student Activities Committee Members this year as we have expanded. Please welcome back Dave Barrett supporting the University of Calgary Capstone project again. Scott Sokolosky and Naveed Jessani have re-engaged to help support our activities as well. Jack Sreekumar will return for his second year as Student Activities Co-Chair.
