I hope everyone had an incredible holiday and that you’re all off to a great start in 2023.
In November 2022 we had planned another site visit to Camp Kindle, to review a Boiler replacement project. The facilities staff has done an incredible job, doing everything they can to stretch the life of their current boiler but there is little to nothing that can be done at this point, aside from a replacement.
Thankfully we had an incredible response from the SAC ASHRAE community with many contractors willing to lend a hand, as well as some equipment manufacturers that are going to donate some equipment.
The site tour went well and we’re just currently waiting for an update on equipment availability and lead times before any further progress can be made…we’ll keep you posted.
Thanks again to all everyone involved and/or willing to help out on the Camp Kindle project, it is appreciated!
As far as the projects that have been slowly legging along, we’re still waiting for design details on the Hull Services project and we may have potentially made some progress with regards to the equipment and facility assessments for the Boys & Girls Club. More to come on these in the coming months.
Note: We’re always looking for contractors that would be willing to assist with the Sustainable Community projects. If you’re open to helping and/or would like any additional information, please do not hesitate to reach out to any of the SAC ASHRAE board members or myself.
Here’s to an incredible year in 2023!
